WINTER COMMUNITY SKI BUS

BOLLYWOOD

This aerobics class uses steps and music straight from Bollywood movies.  Not only will you get a cardio workout, but you’ll gain flexibility and have a lot of fun doing it!  Tuesday evenings at 5:30pm, Thursday evenings at 4:15pm.

YOGA/AEROBICS

Get Fit!  In a 45 minute cardio, weights, squats and abs intensive workout … cool down with yoga stretches.

INSTANT GUITAR

The “Instant Guitar for Hopelessly Busy People” seminar is a really fun ONE time 2.5 hour seminar for adults and teens.  Designed to teach the basics of playing the guitar using simple chords.  You will take home a specifically prepared workbook and practice DVD designed for home practice.

PHOTOGRAPHY FUNDAMENTALS

In this two evening course we will discover the elements needed for a solid foundation to photography.  Exposure, shutter speed, ISO, depth of field and composition will only be a part of what we will learn.  On day one we will discuss technical and artistic details and then it will be up to you to go and shoot some images.  On day two we will look at our work and discuss the images as a group.  The goal of this course is to help you take your camera off the fully automatic mode and let you be in control of how your camera creates the image.

E-COMMERCE SHOPPING CARTS & INTERNET MARKETING

Making money on the internet is not rocket science.  If you’ve got a good idea, or just want to get ready for that million-dollar inspiration you know you’re about to have, then this is the course for you!  Learn basics of domain name registration, web hosting, how to hook up a shopping cart and how to get the money into your bank account!  During this class you will build a fully functional e-commerce web site.

WREATH MAKING

A day of collecting materials, wreath making, mulled wine and hot cider.  Bring a lunch and meet at Wind River Cellars for vine cutting.  Construction and lunch at the home of the Artist.

GLASS ORNAMENTS

White Salmon Glassworks Inc is offering several beginning and advanced classes in ‘warm glass’ fusing, for children and adults.  What is warm glass?  Learn the techniques of cutting glass and making your own design in preparation to fuse in the kiln at 1450 degrees.  Join us in our newly remodeled fusing studio.

KIDS HOLIDAY CRAFTS

Get ready for tons of crafts, friends and fun!  I invite children ages 4-11 to spend most of the day making homemade gifts for friends and family.  I have hosted twelve crafter’s workshops, and selected all of my favorite Christmas crafts, treats and games to share with you this year.  By the end of the workshop each child will have a bag of gifts and cards ready to give to a relative, friends or family member of his/her choice.  The registration fee includes all craft supplies, snacks & lunch.  There will be adult supervision and additional instructors at the class all day to make sure all children are well supervised.

NORTHSIDE HOLIDAY BABYSTTING EXTRAVAGANZA

The day after Thanksgiving is the biggest shopping day of the year.  Don’t miss out!  Enroll your children aged 3-11 in this full day of fun!  Kids will enjoy games, arts and crafts and snacks while their parents get out and start their holiday shopping.
